As an accredited program organization of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) SolidarMed has formed an alliance with the Geneva-based organization "Enfants du Monde" as of the beginning of 2021.
Thanks to the alliance and collaboration, new impactful programs can grow together.
Switzerland/Tanzania Through such alliances, the SDC aims to promote cooperation between different actors in the field of development cooperation. "Enfants du Monde" is a strong partner, especially in the field of education of children and youth with a focus on West Africa and South America.
Thanks to the alliance and collaboration, new impactful programs can grow together. A first joint project is currently being planned in Tanzania. Tanzanian adolescents are often poorly educated about issues of sexuality, contraception and pregnancy because appropriate health services are lacking. One frequent consequence of this is teenage pregnancies. The set project goal, starting in 2022, is to promote sexual and reproductive health and related rights among adolescents in Ulanga District through better knowledge and quality health services. SolidarMed brings to this project experience and knowledge in the field of medical services in Tanzania. "Enfants du Monde" facilitates good quality sexual and reproductive health education programs for youth.
