Emergency aid for India
In response to the consequences of the Covid 19 pandemic, SolidarMed supports the distribution of food parcels on site. The distribution of the parcels is aimed at 800 affected families.
The situation in India is turning out to be worse than ever. The number of corona cases is rising sharply. India accounts for a quarter of new infections worldwide. Thousands die every day, many of these deaths go unreported. The situation is tense, for many hopeless. Help us to alleviate the suffering of those affected. Food parcels for the needy
One package contains 10 kg of rice, 2 kg of wheat flour, 2 kg of cooking oil, 2 kg of lentils and 2 kg of sugar.
Single mothers whose spouses died of the Corona virus or those who lost their jobs due to the lockdown are provided with the packages.
Importance of emergency aid
The purpose of this emergency aid is to give those affected the opportunity to reorganise themselves over the coming weeks.
In addition and as a sustainable measure, they are offered the possibility of further professional training in order to achieve renewed financial security.
