Polarlys Foundation visits mobile health clinic in Tanzania

In the heart of rural Tanzania, where health centers are often hours away, a mobile health clinic brings medical care directly to the people. This has been made possible through the collaboration with the Polarlys Foundation.

Together with the Polarlys Foundation, SolidarMed established a mobile health clinic in Tanzania. A service that brings basic medical care to remote regions. In these areas, long distances and difficult roads mean that people have little to no access to healthcare.

Recently, the two board members of the Polarys Foundation, Bettina Eschler and Thomas Brandhuber, traveled together with our Medical Director Jochen Ehmer to the rural Malinyi District to witness firsthand the living conditions and the impact of the project.

In the video, they share their impressions and explain the impact the mobile health clinic has on the people.

Strong partnerships

SolidarMed fosters strong partnerships and applies its strengths where they are most needed, whether as a locally rooted implementation partner or as a medical expert organization within a consortium. Because sustainable solutions can only develop through collaboration on equal footing.
