In silent mourning for ’M’e Mamello Letsie
With deep sorrow, SolidarMed in Lucerne bids farewell to ’M’e Mamello Letsie, Country Director of SolidarMed Lesotho. We are losing a dedicated leader who has had a lasting impact on SolidarMed’s work.
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our colleague ’M’e Mamello Letsie, Country Director of SolidarMed Lesotho. She joined the organisation in 2022 and has played a decisive part in shaping and advancing SolidarMed’s development and work.
Mamello Letsie was highly valued by her colleagues as a committed and deeply compassionate leader. With her clear stance, reliability, and great dedication, she further developed the country program in Lesotho and built and strengthened sustainable partnerships.
As a leader, she was appreciated for her respectful management style, her closeness to the teams, and her ability to support and inspire others.
Through her work, Mamello touched many lives and will live on in the structures and relationships she built, as well as in our memories. Her warmth, her engaging laughter, and her gracious nature will be deeply missed.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, her colleagues in Lesotho, and to all who knew her and had the privilege of working with her.
