Strategy 2025–2030 at a glance
Together with our local partners, we are working to strengthen healthcare systems in a sustainable way. Our 2025–2030 strategy outlines how SolidarMed makes a difference: through partnership, evidence-based approaches and a people-centred approach.
Our Vision
Our vision is a world in which everyone can live in the best possible health, with dignity and autonomy.
Health is the foundation of an independent life. Yet, particularly in fragile contexts, many people lack access to adequate medical health care. This is where SolidarMed comes in: working alongside local partners, we strengthen healthcare systems for the long term – from prevention through diagnosis to treatment.

Six priority areas
SolidarMed will invest in and implement measures in six strategic priority areas:
- Developing community-based healthcare models
- Strengthening health partnerships and cooperation
- Taking a people-centred approach
- Advancing SolidarMed as a knowledge organisation
- Safeguarding financial resilience
- Integrating climate change and sustainability
Our approach combines innovation, research and dialogue with concrete support on the ground – for example, through the training and further education of healthcare professionals or the implementation of digital solutions. Our aim is to ensure high-quality primary health care for all.
Theory of Change: Our Impact Model
Our work is based on a clear impact model: it demonstrates how targeted measures – ranging from training to system strengthening – lead to better access, higher quality and, in the long term, improved health.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
Through this strategy, SolidarMed, together with its partners, is contributing to the implementation of Goal 3 of the 2030 Agenda – Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages – as well as to Switzerland’s Strategy for International Cooperation 2025–2028 and its Foreign Health Policy 2025–2028.
